Friday Fun

I'm at it again ... spray painting my thrifted finds. I went to one of my favorite thrift stores yesterday - the DAV. Almost all of my "art work" in my home came from there. They always have something I want/need. Here's what I got.

I got another platter. This is another cheapy, but they spray paint so well!

Now this I liked ... a cool latern. Can't decide what to do with it but I'm looking forward to figuring it out!
Went to Goodwill, too. Found these cute little salt and pepper shakers.

I thought they had a neat design.

I've seen these all over the place. I guess they're fruit baskets? I think they're whatever you want them to be and I love them.

My "studio".

Sorry, grass. I will mow you tomorrow.

Swing by soon for more finished results! Have a great weekend!

  1. Neat finds! I have seen those wire baskets before too. I think the could make a great hanging lamp shade. Sprayed a nice pastel like my favorite sea glass green with some clip on butterflies or birds maybe. I'll be back to see what you made!

  2. Great finds. I went to my favorite thrift store and left empty handed. I love the salt and pepper shakers. Take care.

  3. You got some great stuff! I love the lantern. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

  4. Hi Jennifer !
