My favorite fragrance ...

... is Noritake.

The more I look at it, the more I fall in love. I picked this up at Salvation Army - tea cup and saucer for $1.20. I visited my go-to china information website and found the additional pieces that I would *especially love* to have. If you saw this post, you'll remember there are a few pieces of a china set that always catch my eye.

Doesn't everyone need a veggie bowl?

And this tea pot ... it sells for $299.95. Wish list item #52.

The sugar bowl. Wish list item # 53.
Everyone needs a little cream now and then. Wish list item # 54.

The more I look at them, the more I'm starting to like the salt and pepper shakers.

And the gravy boat ... its always the gravy boat that gets me.

Now, I must vent. At my Goodwill excursion on Wednesday I saw something that I have now tried to explain twice and can't find the words. The most important part is that it involved tea cups. The lady beside me said "you must collect tea cups" to which I replied "yes". Then she tells me that she has a ton of tea cups at home that she doesn't know what to do with so she's going to bring them to Goodwill and so on. Ummm ... "call me before you do, please".

Yes, I said it. Did she ask for my phone number? No. I don't blame her, I guess ... but as a collector the sheer thought of new tea cups and saucers, in patterns that I've never seen makes me squeal.

However, I speak often about the thrill of the hunt. That nice lady giving me her tea cup collection would not be as fun as randomly stumbling upon a highly collectible piece at Goodwill. Ok, so I say that just to make myself feel better and forgive me if I sound mean... but if she didn't plan on offering me her tea cup collection, she should have kept her thought to herself. Oh well.

Now that I've gotten that off my chest :) I'd like to end with a picture of a prize I won on Olive Rue's blog a few days ago!
Aren't these cute?! Chalkboard tags ... I can't wait to get organized enough to use these!! If you've not been to Olive Rue, please visit. She does a lot of thrifting, chalkboard projects and always has beautiful pictures in her posts.

I hope you have a great weekend!
